
This Regulation establishes the terms of participation in the excursions and events of EOS HELIOUPOLIS, with a view to safety, transparency, and the smooth operation of the Association.
The excursions and events of EOS HELIOUPOLI are open to everyone.
Basic requirements for participation are:
Certain climbs are subject to special participation terms, which are detailed in the description of each excursion.
Activities in nature, despite the observance of strict safety rules, the use of appropriate equipment and the selection of safe routes, carry an objective risk of accident. Participation presupposes full awareness and acceptance of this risk.
EOS HELIOUPOLI, as organizer, is obliged to appoint Climb Leaders. The Club's responsibility is limited to proper organization and provision of leadership.
Participation in an excursion is considered valid only with electronic booking.
Booking is valid only with payment of a deposit (immediately by card or within 4 days by transfer/cash). Late deposit or payment results in automatic cancellation, without notice.
Booking without a deposit does not exist and does not bind the Club.

In special cases, different time limits may apply, which are explicitly stated in the description of each excursion.
The Club provides the following discounts:
Departure takes place strictly at the scheduled time of the excursion. The bus departs exactly at the predetermined time.
An extension of up to fifteen (15) minutes may be given only if prior notice has been given to the Leader.
Late arrival is equivalent to absence and does not generate a right to refund.
EOS HELIOUPOLI reserves the right to modify or cancel an excursion before its start for reasons of safety or force majeure (natural disasters, unsuitable weather conditions, strikes, exceptional circumstances, etc.).

If a participant wishes to withdraw or remove themselves from the group, they must inform the Leader.
Accident insurance is mandatory for technically difficult excursions and/or winter mountain excursions.
EOS HELIOUPOLI provides insurance programs independently or in cooperation with the Hellenic Mountaineering and Climbing Federation.
In case a participant has private insurance coverage with equivalent or higher benefits and does not wish to be included in the Club's program, they must notify this in writing at least five (5) working days before the start of the excursion.
