F Rock Climbing Course Beginners_2026 autumn

Take your first step in rock climbing with proper training, safety and confidence.

Through theoretical lessons and plenty of practical experience on the rock you will learn step-by-step the basic techniques and acquire the knowledge you need to climb safely on sports climbing routes, and also to participate as a second climber on adventure climbing routes with low risk.

Upon completion of the school you will be able to:

1. Climb independently on sports rock climbing routes.
2. Use correctly and safely the basic climbing equipment.
3. Belay the climber and perform descents safely.
4. Recognize and manage the basic hazards in the field.
5. Continue your training at the Intermediate Level Rock Climbing School.

The school at a glance

1. Duration: 5 weekends of practical training & 7 hours of theory
2. Instructor ratio: 1 instructor per 6 participants and 1 instructor per 3 participants during multi-rope training.

Official Recognition from EOOA

The school is organized in accordance with the regulations of the Greek Mountaineering - Climbing Federation (EOOA) and is officially recognized by it. Upon successful completion of the school you will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion, which gives you the opportunity to continue to the Intermediate Level Rock Climbing School.
