About this Event
No10 has now acquired the title it deserves: National Trail, with new layout and new prospects. Crossing the ridge of Hymettus from Agia Paraskevi to Vari, it will be one of the most important hiking axes in Attica.
And trails are not maintained with wishes, likes or good intentions.
They need hands. They need people. They need volunteers.
No special knowledge is needed. It is enough to love the mountain and want to leave your mark on a trail that thousands of people will use in the years to come.
Come let us leave Hymettus a little better than we found it.
Objective: cleaning and marking of entrance section 10 on the ridge towards Sesi, Sesi- Stavros, Stavros- Mavrovuni
Departure: 07:30 from the Association offices
Transportation will be by car pooling. Those who declare participation will be coordinated in a Viber group and by Friday afternoon the seats and vehicles will be finalized.
Duration of work: approximately 4–5 hours
Estimated return to Iliopoli: 15:00
