About This Ascent

One of the most beautiful hiking trails of Mainalo awaits us, combining dense fir forests, running water and historic paths.

With relatively small elevation differences and reasonable total distance, the excursion is an excellent choice for those who have already made their first hiking trips and want to gain more experience on the trail.

The route initially follows the Orange Trail of SAOO and then the Blue Trail towards Chrysovitsi.

The first section moves through the impressive Arkoudorema, where water, rich vegetation and the shade of fir trees create a unique natural landscape.

The route then alternates between clearings and deeply forested sections, continuously offering different views of the Arcadian landscape.

Departure: Sunday, 07:00, from the intersection of Sophocles Venizelos & Carneades streets (100 m. from Ilioupoli Metro station, in the direction towards Athens).
