Tzia (Korissia- Ioulida- Otzias)

Meeting at the port of Lavrio at 08:30 hours to board the ship to the island- ship departs at 09:00 sharp!

KTEL Attikis departs from outside the 'Nomismatokopio' Metro Station (Line 3), the journey takes approximately 2 hours, and a full-fare ticket costs €4.90. Ticket Issuance: Purchases are made in cash on board the bus (see the schedule here).

We start from Koresia, the island's port and gradually ascend towards the beautiful Iulida, following sections of asphalt, dirt road and the old cobblestone paths that for centuries connected the villages of Kea. Stone walls, small chapels, old farmhouses and continuous views towards the Aegean compose an authentic Cycladic setting.

After a short stop in the picturesque alleys of Chora (for water or coffee), we continue until the famous Lion of Kea (1km or 20-30 minutes), the archaic carved sculpture that constitutes the most emblematic monument of the island.

From there, our path leads us through gentle rural landscape to the beautiful bay of Otzia (distance 6-7km and 2-2.5 hours), where the day is completed as it deserves: with a swim in the sea, good food and Cycladic relaxation.

For the return we will board a scheduled bus line for the return to the port and from there departure 20:00 with arrival 21:00 at Lavrio.
