About This Ascent

If the names don't mean anything to you, then it's an opportunity to see where the Goat Cave is, to see the view from the ridge towards Mesogeia and also to walk one of the 2 routes that in antiquity led from Attica to Mesogeia.

The route follows a well-marked although rocky path, with quite a significant elevation gain above the Karea monastery but the return on the relaxing Aigea or Archaia path will help with the "recovery".
