The Proclamation of Tyrol and its Significance
The Tyrol Declaration is one of the most important international documents of ethics and principles for mountaineering and mountain sports. It was issued in 2002 in Innsbruck (Tyrol, Austria), during the conference of the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation), and serves as a "common framework" for what is considered responsible mountaineering behavior.

Leave No Trace
Nature, the mountains, the forests and the rivers were here before we appeared and it is in our hands to preserve them in excellent condition, so that future generations can enjoy them.

Savoir vivre of ascents!
In mountaineering groups, like in all groups, there are certain written and unwritten rules to ensure everything progresses smoothly, as much as possible. These rules ensure not only safety but also the limitation of any hardship the group may suffer when there is no cohesion.
